Stone-Pelting Clash Between Labour Groups in Aligarh Village Sparks Police Probe

A clash between two labour groups in Rosara village, Aligarh, turned violent as both sides hurled stones and bricks during a heated confrontation. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, prompting police to register a case and launch an investigation into the cause of the dispute.

A violent confrontation broke out between two groups of labourers in Rosara village under the Chandous police station area of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, leading to a barrage of stones and bricks being hurled as tensions suddenly escalated. The incident, captured on mobile phones and now circulating widely across social media platforms, has drawn swift attention from local authorities.

According to initial information, the altercation erupted on Monday when an argument between the two labour groups intensified, quickly spiralling into a full-blown clash. Videos shared online show both sides pelting stones at each other in the middle of the village road, forcing nearby residents to take shelter and triggering alarm throughout the locality.

Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the clash. A team has been deployed to the village to record statements and piece together the sequence of events that led to the confrontation. Investigators are currently examining the viral footage as part of efforts to identify all individuals involved and determine the underlying cause of the dispute.

Authorities stated that the situation has since been brought under control and that further action will follow based on the findings of the inquiry. The incident has reignited concerns about recurring labour-related tensions in rural pockets and the speed at which such disputes can escalate, especially when amplified through social media.
